O V E R V I E W

07 July 2018

I intend to remake this hymn slightly to clarify my own intentions with it.

I found it in the Morning Prayer on the Universalis app just now.

Hymn

”This hymn dates from the 7th or 8th century and is by an unknown author. It is a joyful, simple celebration of the hope which leads us to look forward to the time when an eternal and definitive day will dawn.”

Auróra iam spargit polum,

terris dies illábitur,

lucis resúltat spículum:

discédat omne lúbricum.

Iam vana noctis décidant,

mentis reátus súbruat,

quicquid ténebris hórridum

nox áttulit culpæ, cadat,

Ut mane illud últimum,

quod præstolámur cérnui,

in lucem nobis éffluat,

dum hoc canóre cóncrepat.

Deo Patri sit glória

eiúsque soli Fílio

cum Spíritu Paráclito,

in sempitérna sǽcula. Amen.

It were my soul’s desire

To see the face of God;

It were my soul’s desire

To rest in his abode.

Grant, Lord, my soul’s desire,

Deep waves of cleansing sighs,

Grant, Lord, my soul’s desire,

From earthly cares to rise.

It were my soul’s desire

To imitate my King,

It were my soul’s desire

His endless praise to sing.

It were my soul’s desire,

When heaven’s gate is won,

To find my soul’s desire,

Clear shining like the sun.

This still my soul’s desire,

Whatever life afford,

To gain my soul’s desire

And see thy face, O Lord.

On White Holes
In my search for accessible existant explanations of what a WHITE HOLE is, in this text [https://phys.org/news/2015-10-white-holes.html] was a most helpful metaphor to help me explain better the obvious importance of our capacity for willing and consequently bringing into existence... almost whatever...
The metaphor that is here used to disprove the connections and therefor the existance of WHITE HOLES can easy connect to and prove our everyday natural reliance on belief, trust, faith, hope, expectation... the way life has developed and is continually evolving according to our conscious WILL guiding our subconscious and superconscious to follow...

As my good friend and sometimes Guide to Space contributor, Dr. Brian Koberlein says, "If you start with five cupcakes and start giving them away, you eventually run out. At that point you can't give away any more. In this case you can't count down past zero. Sure, you can hand out slips of paper with "I O U ONE cupcake." written on them, but it would be ridiculous to use the existence of negative numbers to claim that "negative cupcakes" exist and can be handed out to people."

If there were created after the Big Bang, they might get around to decaying and exploding as white holes any day now. Except, according to Stephen Hawking, they would have already evaporated.
Another interesting idea put forth by physicists, is that a might explain the Big Bang, since this is another situation where a tremendous amount of matter and energy spontaneously appeared.
In all likelihood, white holes are just fancy math. And since fancy math rarely survives contact with reality, white holes are probably just imaginary.

The 1917 Jewish Publication Society version of the Tanakh (also known as the Masoretic Text)

"Question: "What is the Masoretic Text?"

Answer:
The Hebrew text of the Old Testament is called the Masoretic Text because in its present form it is based upon the Masora—the Hebrew, textual tradition of the Jewish scholars known as the Masoretes (or Masorites). The Masoretes were rabbis who made it their special work to correct the faults that had crept into the text of the Old Testament during the Babylonian captivity, and to prevent, for the future, its being corrupted by any alteration. They first separated the apocryphal from the canonical books, and divided the latter into twenty-two books, being the number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet. Then they divided each book into sections and verses.

There is a great difference of opinion as to when the Masoretic Text was written, but it was probably accomplished in the 10th -11th century. Several editions existed, varying considerably, but the received and authoritative text is that of Jacob ben-chayim ibn Adonijah, who carefully sifted and arranged the previous works on the subject. It was published in 1524.

Although the existing copies of the Masoretic Text date back only to the tenth century, two other important textual evidences bolster the confidence of textual critics that it is accurate. The first is the successive discoveries of manuscripts at Qumran by the Dead Sea since 1947. These revealed portions of manuscripts several centuries older than any previously known. The second is the comparison of the Masoretic text to the Greek translation called the Septuagint (or LXX), which was written around 200-150 B.C. The oldest existing manuscripts date back to the fourth century A.D. Both the Septuagint and the Dead Sea Scrolls reveal an amazing consistency with the Masoretic Text, assuring us that God was indeed divinely and sovereignly protecting His Word through thousands of years of copying and translating."

What about the letter 'Y' ['y' is different why?] as a "road" symbol?

A SOLUTIONAL SKETCH POST IN PROGRESS that I intend to develop further.
ive not included any of my proposals for solution yet.
Can you figure out what Im driving at?
First I saw a crane (that I had to remind myself the english word for) flying close past my bedroom window.
The search for swedish 'trana' in english opened in ...https://translate.google.ca/#pt/en/trana
OBSERVE the translation from (earlier used language) portugese into 'trance*. What Im doing here Im doing as in an important trance state of mind. Very focused.
Then I checked the english word that I originally searched for which is 'crane' (also meaning something like something that lifts something...)

https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trana

"[Verse 1]
I tried to drink it away
I tried to put one in the air
I tried to dance it away
I tried to change it with my hair

[Verse 2]
I ran my credit card bill up
Thought a new dress would make it better
I tried to work it away
But that just made me even sadder

[Verse 3]
I tried to keep myself busy
I ran around in circles
Think I made myself dizzy
I slept it away, I sexed it away
I read it away
Away

[Refrain 1]
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away

[Hook 1]
Well it's like cranes in the sky
Sometimes I don't wanna feel those metal clouds
Yeah, it's like cranes in the sky
Sometimes I don't wanna feel those metal clouds

[Verse 4]
I tried to run it away
Thought then my head be feeling clearer
I traveled 70 states
Thought moving round make me feel better

[Verse 5]
I tried to let go my lover
Thought if I was alone then maybe I could recover
To write it away or cry it away
Don't you cry baby
Away

[Refrain 1]
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away

[Hook 2]
But it's like cranes in the sky
Sometimes I don't wanna feel those metal clouds
Yeah, it's like cranes in the sky
Sometimes I don't wanna feel those metal...

[Refrain 2]
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away, away"

Bogen pattern cobblestone paving
"... The second type of incremental scales has a reference, where a reference position is aligned with on increment of the incremental scale.
Typically, motion control systems are based on incremental systems. They provide a relative movement scheme as input. Incremental systems will require a home run to find the reference position and then count from there...

There are many possible solutions for absolute measurement. BOGEN can produce scales for any absolute pattern and provides several different types of sensing heads for some of the technologies. ...Using a binary patterns, multiple tracks can be written in parallel. Through the binary system using the zero as a north pole and the one as south pole, a magnetic pattern can be written, where each combination of the different tracks provides one position... "

Conformal cobblestones open ended question:
"
Conformal mappings make a good basis for such patterns because of their angle-preserving property, which means that a square grid is mapped onto a curvilinear orthogonal grid which can be easily constructed from an arrangement of square cobblestones (setts).
The curves in the Bogen pattern are catenaries of equal strength. They are described by ξ=clncosη
and ξ=clnsinη, where f(z)=ξ+iη and c is a real constant.
Other conformal mapping functions commonly seen in cobblestones are f(z)=z
(rectilinear) and f(z)=ez
(circular). But which other functions would be suitable, and which have actually been used?
[Edit: function definitions inverted to conform to usual convention.]

The Throne Verse of the Koran
This verse speaks about how nothing and nobody is comparable to Allah.

Allah ! There is no deity but Him, the Alive, the Eternal.
Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him.
Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth.
Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave?
He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them,
while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will.
His throne includeth the heavens and the earth,
and He is never weary of preserving them.
He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.

Burial of Sarah
Part of Art by Gustave Doré, originally uploaded by Neutrality.

"The Cave of the Patriarchs, also called the Cave of Machpelah ... and known by Muslims as the Sanctuary of Abraham or the Ibrahimi Mosque, is a series of subterranean chambers located in the heart of the old city of Hebron in the Hebron Hills. According to tradition that has been associated with the Holy Books Torah, Bible and Quran, the cave and adjoining field were purchased by Abraham as a burial plot."
"
Dating back over 2,000 years, the monumental Herodian compound is believed to be the oldest continuously used intact prayer structure in the world, and is the oldest major building in the world that still fulfills its original function."
"The Hebrew name of the complex reflects the very old tradition of the double tombs of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob and Leah, considered the Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the Jewish people, who are all believed to be buried there."
"... In the round chamber, which is 12 metres (39 ft) below the entrance to the shaft, there are three stone slabs, the middle of which contains a partial inscription of Sura 2, verse 255, from the Quran, the famous Ayatul Kursi, Verse of the Throne."

"... Arabs returned in the morning, it was pretty obvious that something was amiss. They realized that the Jews had entered the cave against their will, and sealed off the rock with concrete. Since that time, no archaeological examinations of any kind have taken place at the Cave.
After his talk, I had one question for Mr. Arnon: "Why didn't you take more pictures?"
He told me the obvious. Cameras thirty years ago were somewhat more complicated and difficult to manage than our point-and-clicks today. It was pitch black. Lighting was impossible. He took as many pictures as he could, but it's not like today, where you look at the screen and see what you've got. Anyone older than thirty will remember that way back, not more than ten years ago, you took a picture with something called "film", and you shot the picture and hoped for the best.
What you see is what came out.

Pottery from the Cave
Often, when visiting ancient sites here in Israel, I find myself wondering whether this is the "real" burial place, or just some shrine erected centuries later. (Think: Kever Rachel, Kever David, Kever Yosef - the list goes on and on). Some part of me always wondered whether that same question applied to the most important burial ground in Jewish History. Hearing Arnon's story doesn't answer the question scientifically, but I never needed absolute proof. That place was - and is - an ancient burial ground - and I truly believe that Avraham Avinu chose that cave as the final resting place for his wife, himself, and his descendants.
Its a tribute to Noam Arnon and the people who live in Hevron today, that we merit the ability to visit, pray and worship there today" http://choppingwood.blogspot.cz/2011/11/whats-under-mearat-hamachpelah-2-rest.html

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starvation_(computer_science)
In computer science, starvation is a problem encountered in concurrent computing where a process is perpetually denied necessary resources to process its work.[1]
Starvation may be caused by errors in a scheduling or mutual exclusion algorithm, but can also be caused by resource leaks, and can be intentionally caused via a denial-of-service attack such as a fork bomb.
The impossibility of starvation in a concurrent algorithm is called starvation-freedom, lockout-freedom[2] or finite bypass,[3] is an instance of liveness, and is one of the two requirements for any mutual exclusion algorithm (the other being correctness).
The name "finite bypass" means that any process (concurrent part) of the algorithm is bypassed at most a finite number times before being allowed access to the shared resource.

LISTADE DYGDER

https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dygd

Vilka dygder fattas i listan?

One of the strongest correlations between brain size and memory was found in an area at the intersection of the salience and default mode networks.

"Most children will learn to read between kindergarten and 2nd grade, but only when someone — a teacher, parent, grandparent, or older friend — teaches them how to do it.

Even if you begin reading aloud to your baby during pregnancy and don't miss a day from birth to age 5, your child will still need to learn how to decode the printed page. The majority of children will pass through several important stages on their way to becoming good readers — that is, able to gain meaning and understanding from the printed page.

You should monitor your child's passage through these various stages to make sure he's on schedule. Most preschoolers are in the prereading stage. Readers in this stage of development should be able to repeat materials that have been read to them over and over, particularly if the books are predictable and contain lots of rhyming words.

Although children at this stage are not really reading in the sense of identifying words on the page, they do engage in "pretend reading" because they understand that books have meaning. They also know that groups of letters written on a page stand for words.

Once your child is in kindergarten, he should learn to hear the differences between the various sounds that letters make. This ability is an important prerequisite to learning to read, and without it, even the best phonics instruction can fail.

In 1st grade, your child should move into the decoding stage, where children begin to associate letters with sounds and spoken words with printed ones. Because children at this stage are still in the process of learning to sound out words, they are able to read only a fraction of the words whose meanings they can understand orally.

As your child becomes less and less dependent on having to painstakingly sound out each word, he will be able to focus more of his attention on the meaning of what he has read and can begin to tackle increasingly difficult books on his own."
