"The exact origin of the Infant Jesus statue is not known, but historical sources point to a small 19 inch (48 cm) high sculpture of the Holy Child with a bird in his right hand presently located in the Cistercian monastery of Santa María de la Valbonna in Asturias, Spain which was carved around the year 1340. Many other Infant Jesus sculptures were also carved by famous masters throughout Europe in the Middle Ages. Russian families enjoyed Mignon eggs for Easter. Its distinctive features are a filling of almond-hazelnut nougat inside
a real eggshell. The Fazer Mignon dates back to 1896 when Karl Fazer brought the recipe from Germany.
Mignon eggs are handmade at the Fazer factory in Vantaa.
In the Eastern Orthodox Church and Byzantine Rite Catholic Churches, Easter Monday is called "Bright Monday" or "Renewal Monday"and starts the "Bright Week". In Sweden it is called "White Week" (Vita Veckan)
Formerly, the post-Easter festivities involved a week of celebration, but in many places this was reduced to one day in the 19th century. Events include egg rolling competitions and, in predominantly Roman Catholic countries, dousing other people with water which traditionally had been blessed with holy water the day before at Easter Sunday Mass and carried home to bless the house and food.
In Egypt, the ancient festival of Sham El Nessim (Arabic: شم النسيم, literally meaning "smelling of the breeze") is celebrated on the Coptic (i.e. Eastern) Easter Monday, though the festival dates back to Pharonic times (about 2700 BC). It is celebrated by both Egyptian Christians and Muslims as an Egyptian national holiday rather than as a religious one. Traditional activities include painting eggs, taking meals outdoors...
In Guyana, people fly kites, which are made on Holy Saturday.
In Leicestershire, England the people of Hallaton hold a bottle-kicking match and Hare Pie Scramble.
In the Netherlands, people eat a festive breakfast and go hiking or cycling in the countryside.
It is celebrated in Coastal Northern Portugal as the Anjo Festival (Angel Festival) where people go to the countryside and woodlands to picnic and party, it also includes a reminder of pagan beliefs, in which the Hedera helix ivy is especially regarded.
In Italy Easter Monday is celebrated as Pasquetta where people have picnics in the countryside.
In some United States In some states and districts, public schools and universities are closed on Easter Monday, often part of spring break.
In Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic traditionally, early in the morning boys awake girls by pouring a bucket of water on their head :(

"Tamino approaches the left-hand entrance and is denied access by voices from within. The same happens when he goes to the entrance on the right. But from the entrance in the middle, an old priest appears and lets Tamino in... He tells Tamino that Sarastro is benevolent, not evil... He promises that Tamino's confusion will be lifted when Tamino approaches the temple as a friend."

"Det märkliga är att det blivande barnet uppfattas som en inkräktare,
och måste skydda sig mot sin egen mors immunförsvar.
Blastocysten utsöndrar ett enzym, som här syns som blåa kristaller,
en signal till modern att den inte är någon inkräktare.
Den är tvärtom någon som behöver näring och omvårdnad."

"A Sarashi or a Hara Obi (Sarashi means bleached cloth (and is also used as cheesecloth) and Hara Obi means "stomach belt/sash) is a long cotton cloth about 10''
wide and several feet long that you repeatedly wrap around your belly.
In pregnancy you wrap it in a way that is looser at top and tighter at
the bottom which holds the belly up without a binding effect. It
helps alleviate back pain and prevent stretch marks. In the post pregnancy months
you wrap it tight equally from top to bottom which will help
with healing. In Japan they have been used for thousands of years.

Sulfur dioxide (also sulphur dioxide) is the chemical compound with the formula SO
2. At standard atmosphere, it is a toxic gas with a pungent, irritating, and rotten smell. The triple point is 197.69 K and 1.67 kPa. It is released naturally by volcanic activity.
Sulfur dioxide was used by the Romans in winemaking when they discovered that burning sulfur candles inside empty wine vessels kept them fresh and free from vinegar smell.

Scheduling in pulp mills
The pulp process involves many production stages, usually coupled with intermediate storage tanks. As each stage has a different reliability and bottlenecks may vary from day to day, scheduling a pulp mill needs to take into account these bottlenecks and the probability of a disturbance or breakdown. Each stage also may have different decision variables, such as steam / water / chemical input, etc.

to fold it. Finally, after hours of folding, I did. Here are some

"Religion from O.Fr. religion "religious community," from L. religionem (nom. religio)
"respect for what is sacred, reverence for the gods,"
"obligation, the bond between man and the gods"
is derived from the Latin religiō, the ultimate origins of which are obscure.
One possibility is an interpretation traced to Cicero,
connecting lego "read", i.e. re (again) + lego in the sense of
"choose", "go over again" or "consider carefully".
Modern scholars such as Tom Harpur and Joseph Campbell favor the derivation from ligare
"bind, connect", probably from a prefixed re-ligare, i.e. re (again) + ligare or
"to reconnect,""

"Aluminium (or aluminum; see spelling differences) is a chemical element in the boron group with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery-white, soft, nonmagnetic, ductile metal. Aluminium is the third most abundant element (after oxygen and silicon), and the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust.
It makes up about 8% by weight of the crust, though it is less common
in the mantle below. Aluminium metal is so chemically reactive that native specimens are rare and limited to extreme reducing environments. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals. The chief ore of aluminium is bauxite.
Aluminium is remarkable for the metal's low density and for its ability to resist corrosion due to the phenomenon of passivation. Structural components made from aluminium and its alloys are vital to the aerospace industry and are important in other areas of transportation and structural materials. The most useful compounds of aluminium, at least on a weight basis, are the oxides and sulfates.
Despite its prevalence in the environment, no known form of life uses aluminium salts metabolically. In keeping with its pervasiveness, aluminium is well tolerated by plants and animals. Owing to their prevalence, potential beneficial (or otherwise) biological roles of aluminium compounds are of continuing interest." Wikipedia

"Orthodox Marilogical thought dates as far back as Saint John Damascene who in the 8th century wrote on the mediative role of Mary and on the Dormition of the Theotokos.[12][13]
In the 14th century, Orthodox Mariology began to flourish among
Byzantine theologians who held a cosmic view of Mariology, placing Jesus
and Mary together at the center of the cosmos and saw them as the goal
of world history.[10]
More recently Orthodox Mariology achieved a renewal among 20th century
theologians in Russia, for whom Mary is the heart of the Church and the
center of creation.[10] However, unlike the Catholic approach, Orthodox Mariology does not support the Immaculate Conception of Mary.[10]
Prior to the 20th century, Orthodox Mariology was almost entirely
liturgical, and had no systematic presentation similar to Roman Catholic
Mariology. However, 20th century theologians such as Sergei Bulgakov began the development of a detailed systematic Orthodox Mariology.[14][15][16] Bulgakov's Mariological formulation emphasizes the close link between Mary and the Holy Spirit in the mystery of the Incarnation.[11]"
"During the Middle Ages, devotion to the Virgin Mary as the "new Eve" lent much to the status of women. Women who had been looked down upon as daughters of Eve, came to be looked upon as objects of veneration and inspiration. The medieval development of chivalry, with the concept of the honor of a lady and the ensuing knightly devotion to it, not only derived from the thinking about the Virgin Mary, but also contributed to it.[27] The medieval veneration of the Virgin Mary was contrasted by the fact that ordinary women, especially those outside aristocratic circles were looked down upon. Although women were at times viewed as the source of evil, it was Mary who as mediator to God was a source of refuge for man. The development of medieval Mariology and the changing attitudes towards women paralleled each other and can best be understood in a common context.[28]"

African - The creator-god and sky-god of the Mende. He moved up to a house in the sky to be free of the never-ending requests of mankind. Sometimes called Ngewo, Ngewowa, Ngewowa, Leve or Leve.

Ngewo is the supreme being, the creator of the universe. He created man, the animals and fishes, as well as the trees and plants. The more common of the two names of God is Ngewo; the other name, Leve, seems to be more ancient. In ancient times, the Mende may have conceived of Leve as the female deity consort of Ngewo, forming the feminine half of a cosmic creator couple. Ngewo or Leve, chief and father protector, is transcendent, living away from the everyday activities of this world.

Spiral Perm
"Spiral perms are created using long perm rods. The end result is extremely tight, cascading curls or ringlets. They look like tightly wound spirals or corkscrews. Of course, how tight the curls are depends on the size of the perm rod and the various chemicals used. These factors will mostly vary from salon to salon so be sure to ask – some salons will be able to provide pictures of their work as examples."
