An obvious choice - the name consists of both "CL" and "Audi"!
Gretchen - Audi 80 GTE 1978.
Gretchen is a German form for the name "Greta", meaning "little Greta".
Elsa - Audi 80 LS 1976.
Naturally because of the letters "LS".
Ilse - Audi 100 LS 1974.
Another name with the letters "LS" in it, and a German name too. Thanks to Kevin Thompson for the suggestion!
Katinka - Audi 100 Avant 2.3E 1988.
I thought long and hard to come up with a suitable name for this black beuaty. Thinking of things that are black I came up with "ink", which led me to Katinka. Having a catalytic exhaust converter - in Swedish usually shortened to "kat", the name was even more justified!
Previous cars:
Ellen - Audi 80 L 1975.
When you refer to "the L" in Swedish, it's "L-en". Hence, Ellen!
Lydia - Audi 80 CL 1984.
Named after her license plate letters LYY, and being Claudia's sister.
